But of course, you can meow whenever you want. The protagonist’s movement was designed using motion capture with a real cat, so the game mechanics are pretty realistic.

Little Kitty Big City follows another young cat that has lost its way. After falling off a balcony, this black cat must traverse the big city to find its way home. But there’s no rush – you have plenty of opportunities to enjoy being a kitty. Talk to other animals, cause havoc for humans, and smash that meow button. 

3. Night in the Woods

Night in the Woods is about an anthropomorphic black cat named Mae who returns home after dropping out of college. She hopes to reconnect with old friends and take it easy – but things have changed since she left. The game features a rich world and a colorful cast of characters. And there’s something odd going on. Something that goes bump in the night. Something in the woods.

Cat Quest is an open-world RPG that has been described as a ‘Diablo with cats’ or a ‘super-cute Skyrim.’ You play as Hero, a little tabby who must defeat the evil Drakoth that catnapped your sister. There’s a massive overworld with plenty of cool dungeons to explore. And if you’re into cool magic and combat mechanics, this game is for you.

5. Gato Roboto

Combine a cute kitty with a robot mech and you have Gato Roboto. In this game, you play as the brave Kiki who must save your captain who becomes stranded on an alien planet. Fight your way through hordes of creatures, explore the mysterious landscapes of the planet, and upgrade your gear to take on the biggest of baddies.
